14: Made to be Different (A Conversation with Alyssia Leach)

Alyssia Leach joins in on this week's episode and shares on how she was made to be different. Alyssia Leach is a daughter of the King and is SET APART! She starts off sharing some unique qualities about herself that made me smile and laugh. And you will too. This TWENTY-TWO years old is focused and purpose driven. She is a GOAL getter, but is also learning how to focus and not do all the things. From creating a match-making website in fourth grade to graduating a year early from college, Alyssia fills us in on her entrepreneurial spirit, heart for God and her love of service to others.
Alyssia is currently the Senior Fellow (Jr. CEO) at Griptape, a non-profit that offers young people ages 14–19 total control to design a 10-week learning experience, up to $500 to pursue this learning, and a Champion to support them.

13: Queen, Arise Pt. 5: Enjoy your life and yourself

It's time to stop overthinking about ourselves, faults, and failures. I, for a longgggggg time leaned into excessive introspection. Nothing wrong with examining ourselves, but when it becomes so excessive that, that is all we think about, that's our total conversation, it's time to STOP and fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith. In this episode, I share from Joyce Meyer's book, Approval Addiction: Overcoming Your Need to Please Everyone. Joyce writes: We don't have to ty to "figure ourselves out". We have been given Holy Spirit who will lead us into all truth. I have just come to the point in my life that if He wants me to know, He will tell me, one way or the other. :)

8: Queen. Arise. Pt 2 | True Identity

Hello VSL Listeners,

I continue sharing the message of Queen, Arise. I believe that our TRUE identity can only be found in God. Our Heavenly Father is super creative and He created us in His image and likeness. In order for us to DO what He is calling us to do, we must grab ahold of the revelation of who we are. Do you know who you are? 1 Peter 2:9 declares, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." Queen, (and King ;)), you are ROYALTY. So act like it. (This is for me, too!) There is no time for settling for less than God's best for you. Take some time out to fellowship with your creator and allow His words of life to wash over you. Come into agreement with what His love letter says about you. Write down the scriptures and say them out loud over yourself. You are NOT the negative words they spoke about you. You are NOT the negative words you have said about yourself. We rebuke every word curse that has been spoken over you in the name of Jesus. Queen, YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD. Amen.

Hi to my Amazing Listeners,
Thank you again for tuning into this week's podcast episode. This is a recently recorded Facebook Live where I share an update on the release of my first book and journal, Queen Arise: Taking your rightful place as God's Royalty! (Available on Amazon!). I also share about taking the faith step to start this podcast.
I believe that we all have a GET UP story and testimony and in this season that God is calling for His bride to ARISE. Arise from fear. Arise from hurt. Arise from disappointment and shame. Arise from shrinking back. Arise, and take on your assignment. I share a bit about the things that I have GOT up from. It was by God's grace and mercy keeping me and calling me HIGHER.
