Hi, I am Dr. Candice, a daughter of God, mom of a teenager, and joy igniter with a vivid imagination. I remember waking up in the morning with what seemed like a million thoughts running through my head: Did I send that email? Is Kyla awake? Why didn’t my friend respond to my text? Does my boss like me? I tried to suppress all of those thoughts, so I could start my day. But the flood of thoughts just kept swirling around in my head causing me to overthink and get stuck . . . I finally realized that my mind was a battlefield and the way I was going to win the war in my mind was with the word of God. I prayed and began to dig into my Bible. I started to meditate on God’s truth. I wrote scriptures on index cards and even took them with me to work. I printed out declarations and taped them on my bathroom mirror. I started to memorize scripture again, just like in Sunday School. The negative thoughts began to flee as I replaced them with God’s word. Hello Beautiful Sister,
I could talk about REST all day. Rest is available and it is a gift from God. He desires for us to come unto Him and learn the unforced rhythms of grace. Isn't that so good? It's totally opposite from what the world's patterns are. And we are not to conform to the world's patterns any longer. If you want supernatural results, follow Jesus' pattern. He consistently went away to rest and commune with His Father. He received refreshment and renewal in order to go back out and do the MIRACULOUS! How much more do we need to rest.
Matthew 11:28-30 in the Message and Passion Translation are poetic and serve as an invitation to REST with God and REST in God. Won't you receive God's rest today?

Whew--just breathe. I know what it feels like to try to beat the door down and go 'round and 'round to no avail. In this week's episode I talk about trying to create a Facebook group and receiving encouragement and gaining God's perspective. I talk about five ways to overcome the frustration and renew your mind. God's word is so rich. It is a lamp unto ouor feet and light unto our path.

Hi Friends,
God is love and His love for you is BIG. After listening to Vik Fomenko's teaching on the love of God, I was inspired to dive more into the word and meditate on God's truth about love. I also talked about in week 2 of the Queen, Arise course!!!! My challenge, this week, to my Queen sisters was to: Let God (Father) love you, Let Jesus (Brother/Friend) love you, let Holy Spirit love you and nurture you. I admonish you to do the same and journal about your encounters with the LOVE of God this week.

Sisters,
Has fear kept you stuck from moving forward into what God has for you? Are you fearful of the unknown? What if it fails? What if I don't do it right? What if I make a wrong turn? Listen, I've been there and done that--allowing the what ifs to plague my mind. But in the face of fear, I had to do it anyway.
Sister, do it anyway. Do it in the face of the emotion of fear. God works ALL things together for our good. God is our great course corrector. He has to remind me, I am with you always. I will never leave you or forsake you. Here's a reminder: You CAN DO ALL things THROUGH Christ who strengthens you.

I was sooooo grateful to spend time with my dear sister in Christ, Shekevious Tykia Lucas (KeKe). And we start the episode by discussing KeKe's name. I affectionately call her KeKe, as well as so many others. KeKe shares her testimony and journey of physical and emotional healing. I LOVE GOD! I LOVE THE WORD OF GOD. How many of you agree?!?! So today, I was thinking and blessing God for another dream coming true: I sent my first email to my subscription list TODAY (the date I am writing, this lol). Woo hoo!!!!! And I remembered that I wrote this down in a dream book back in 2019/2020. God is faithful. Holy Spirit immediately brought to mind, "Thought it tarries..." Just those three words, but that I was all I needed, because we (Holy Spirit and I) commenced to going on an adventure together to the word of God. (I LOVE THE BIBLE!) I LOVE HOLY SPIRIT! I looked up Habakkuk 2:3: For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. God showed me that my vision will SPEAK (Insert shout right here) . . . at the appointed time. And in the meantime, I am to WAIT! Listen, this word is for YOU, too. Grab ahold of it and wait upon the Lord.
